Thesis statement:  
Mandatory military service should not be instituted in the United States to avoid infringing on Constitutional rights, decrease instances of mental health-related issues from service, and maintain the high quality of the military.
1. Must have a hook sentence that IS NOT a question in intro paragraph with background and contextual information. 
2. Must be 5 paragraphs 750-1000 words.
The 3 body sentences must each start with  a persuasive topic sentence. 
a.  to avoid infringing on Constitutional rights
b.  decrease instances of mental health-related issues from service
c. maintain the high qualify of the military 
3. Only the 3 sources provided can be used. 
4. Must be APA 7th addition with at least one paraphrase from each source in the essay wth in text citation. 
5. The conclusion paragraph is to start with “In conclusion, implementing mandatory military
service in the United States would pose a threat to Constitutional rights,
potentially exacerbate mental health problems among service members, and compromise
the overall integrity of the United States military forces.” 
6. After the above conclusion it needs to have two to three sentences to summarize main points of      the subtopics and a final sentence must be final remarks.
