Students will analyze a case study from this website (https://www.scu.edu/ethics/ethics-resources/ethics-cases/) and explain what the solution would be for someone using deontology and care ethics. Student will also explain what their preferred ethical solution would be using whatever ethical framework they prefer. The purpose of this assignment is for students to apply these ethical theories to a case and for the student to consider their own views on ethical questions, and critique other ethical frameworks.
This assignment should be about 1,500-2,000 words long. Do not go over the word limit. Do not use any sources that are not from the assigned readings of this course, lecture notes or case studies of this course. Use of Chat GPT or other similar AI language models will result in automatic failure of the assignment. See below for due dates and rubric. There is no possibility for paper revision.
